Looking for safe, indoor supplemental heating? With our state-of-the-art vent-free technology, say goodbye to a flue or chimney. Our Blue Flame heaters warm the air, which rises to create natural circulation in the room. Ideal for any supplemental heat application.

Operating at 99.9 percent efficiency, these heaters will continue to operate even without electrical power. Completely safe, the Oxygen Depletion Sensor shuts down the heater before the oxygen drops to an unsafe level. Every heater is being tested at the factory to check the ODS system. Hearthrite vent-free infrared heaters operate with 99.9 percent AFUE efficiency.

Featuring a standing pilot and a push-button ignition, heat is literally seconds away-even if there is no power! This vent-free heater is installed on the wall, but an optional floor stand is available.

Professional installation by a certified gas technician is required. Models using Propane Gas must be operated with a 100 lb or larger tank and an external regulator with an output of 11 - 14" WC must be used. Repairs must be done by a qualified service contractor. Use only in compliance with local codes.

These heaters have a pilot light safety system that turns the heater off if not enough fresh air is available. Do not tamper with this safety system. If the heater shuts off, do not relight it until you provide fresh air. If the heater keeps shutting off, have it serviced.
Keep the burner and control compartment clean.
These heaters are design certified in accordance with American National Standards Institute Z21.11.2a (latest standard) by the Canadian Standards Association as Unvented Room Heaters.
The installation must conform to local codes. In the absence of local codes, the installation must conform to American National
Standard (National Fuel Gas Code) known as NFPA 54 and ANSI Z223.1 (latest edition) available from the American National

Beautiful Mantel

The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.

The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.
