Flame, Ember-Bed, and Canopy Lighting

Customizable Flame Presentation

The LF48 uses yellow and orange flame lighting that can be displayed independently or combined. The remote control provides six brightness levels for each flame color, an off setting, and six preset flame effects. Flame movement can be set to low, medium, or high speed.

Seventeen Ember-Bed Effects

The illuminated ember bed includes 17 preset effects plus an off setting. Red, green, and blue lighting levels can also be adjusted individually, allowing the ember-bed colors to be matched to the flame display, room décor, or preferred atmosphere.

Canopy Mood Lighting

Integrated canopy lighting illuminates the top of the firebox and media display. The remote includes 10 static canopy-lighting settings, a dynamic setting, and an off mode. The mobile app also provides color, brightness, and loop controls.

Mirrored Firebox Presentation

The mirrored rear panel reflects the flame and log arrangement. This layered reflection makes the firebox appear deeper and enhances the appearance of flames rising between the supplied logs.

Tuya Smart and Smart Life App

The LumaForest LF48 can connect to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life mobile application. WiFi and location services must be enabled on the mobile device during pairing, and the phone should remain close to the fireplace while the connection is established.

Programmable Remote Control

The control panel includes standby, flame, ember-bed, timer, heater, and WiFi buttons with a digital display. The manual notes that the panel controls basic functions; use the remote or mobile app to access the complete range of settings.

Heating Performance and Electrical Options

120V Plug-In Configuration

A 120V power cord is included. When configured for 120V operation, the fireplace has a maximum power consumption of 1400 watts. This configuration is suitable when a compatible electrical supply is available and the appliance is installed according to the manual.

240V Hardwired Configuration

The LF48 can be switched to 240V operation and hardwired by a qualified electrician. At 240V, maximum power consumption increases to 2800 watts, and the manufacturer rates the fireplace for heating output up to 10,000 BTU.

Heat Modes

Heater settings include H1, H2, Auto, and Off. In Auto mode, the heater operates when the selected temperature is higher than the detected room temperature. The display can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Heater Delay and Safety Control

The heater includes a five-second delay when starting and a 30-second fan delay when shutting down. An electronic safety control switches off the heater if the appliance overheats while allowing the flame effect to continue operating. Follow the reset procedure in the owner’s manual if the safety control activates.

Installation Options

One-Sided Front Installation

Leave both metal side panels installed to create a traditional front-facing fireplace. This configuration is suitable for standard recessed feature walls and media-wall installations where the fire is viewed from the front.

Two-Sided Corner Installation

Remove either the left or right metal side panel and install the supplied edging strips to create a two-sided corner fireplace. Choose the exposed side according to the room layout and framing plan.

Three-Sided Installation

Remove both side panels and install the edging strips on both sides to expose the front and two side-glass panels. This configuration creates the widest viewing angle and is intended for architectural feature walls where all three glass surfaces remain visible.

Built-In Installation

For a recessed installation, construct the framing from suitable wood studs and a support panel as shown in the owner’s manual. The fireplace is inserted into the framed opening and secured using the appliance’s framing brackets and supplied screws.

Wall-Mounted Installation

The LF48 can also be attached using the supplied wall bracket and fixing brackets. The mounting surface must be firm, flat, and capable of supporting the appliance. A surround is required to cover the upper and lower frame areas as shown in the installation instructions.

Included and Optional Media

Included Split Log Set

A size-specific split log set and black glass chips are supplied with the LF48. Each log is numbered to assist with placement. The glass chips are scattered around, beneath, and behind the logs to cover visible areas of the ember bed.

Optional Lit Oak Log Set

The official LumaForest sell sheet identifies DESIGN-MEDIA-OAK-18PCE as an optional log set available for purchase. The owner’s manual states that only compatible Amantii illuminated logs should be used; unsupported illuminated logs can void warranty coverage.

One-Year Limited Warranty

Amantii Imports Corp. warrants the electric fireplace against manufacturing and material defects for one year from the original purchase date, subject to the manufacturer’s terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions.

The warranty applies to the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and requires proof of purchase from an authorized supplier. The fireplace must be installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Warranty coverage does not include labor, installation, construction, transportation, or other incidental service costs. Unauthorized repairs, modifications, misuse, accidents, abuse, prolonged moisture exposure, or the use of unsupported third-party accessories can void coverage.

The owner’s manual states that the limited warranty does not apply to the plastic tray, LED lights, back glass, or front glass. Review the complete warranty section in the owner’s manual before purchase or installation.
