Beautiful Mantel

The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.

The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.

I bought the stove couple weeks ago and ended up having a chance running it a few days I am very pleased with the outcome of the amount of heat it gets out also with the amount of hours it burns at least eight hours. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for hours of heat output. At first when I bought it I didn’t quite know if mine hopes will be for filled but now they are happy with it. After using the Buck Stove Model 91 for most of the winter, I can honestly say it is the best wood stove we’ve ever owned. It gives us steady heat for 10–12 hours on a single load and keeps every room comfortable, even when the temps outside drop below freezing. The fact that it heats our entire home, even during subzero temperatures, makes a huge difference. We only empty the ash tray once every couple of weeks, even with constant use. And finally, it cuts our heating bill dramatically over the winter months. Between performance and looks, this stove delivers in every way.

Blower system works flawlessly

We have had the Buck Stove Model 91 for our large farmhouse since early fall, and it has blown us away with its performance. It was easy to install as an insert into our old fireplace, and it immediately made a difference in comfort and cost. Best of all, it offers incredibly long burn times, sometimes overnight, and we still wake up to a warm house and glowing coals.

Could not ask for more

Our house is a little over 2,500 square feet, and this stove heats the entire space with ease. No cold zones, no uneven warmth. Just consistent, even heat. I also really appreciate the blower system, which spreads the heat so effectively you almost forget you are using wood as the primary fuel. The stove is efficient, rugged, and reliable. Could not ask for more from a wood stove.
