Empire popular Slope Glaze Burners raise the standard for dancing flames. Internal ceramic beads tumble the gas to create an exceptionally realistic flame movement.

The Empire Slope Glaze Burner with logs provides a lovely atmosphere for your family room or den. The Slope Glaze burner creates lifelike flames that accentuate the lifelike look and appeal of the logs. The combined physical features of the logs and flames add to the atmosphere of the fireplace. The Slope Glaze Burner features concealed controls and includes an intermittent pilot and thermostat remote with variable flame height control

Features

A Vent-Free Burner may be installed in a vented fireplace for use as a decorative appliance. A decorative appliance operates with an on/off switch or remote, and may not operate with a thermostat
Left and right clearances are determined when facing the front of the heater
Approved for use in any certified vent-free firebox
A Vent-Free Burner may be installed in a vented fireplace (with the flue damper blocked open) for use as a decorative appliance. A decorative appliance operates with an on/off switch or remote, and may not operate with a thermostat. For a VFSUE burner in a vented application, replace the included Thermostat Remote with FRIP remote (see below). See owner's manual for complete instructions.

Note: Vent-Free Slope Glaze Vista Burners require a matching size LSU log set.

Beautiful Mantel

The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.

The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.
