The Western Driftwood logs are cast from real logs found in real landscapes, then hand-painted to highlight the most beautiful aspects of this species of wood. This specific log set was formed with the natural terrain of the Grand Canyon in mind. The real logs were found after a long journey along the river banks of the stunning National Park in Arizona. The Western Driftwood features a washed-out, sun-bleached visual to replicate the look of nature's influence on wood, making it perfect for any home's transitional design.

Vented Logs:

All Logs manufactured by Grand Canyon Gas Logs are individually cast and hand-painted to perfection. All logs are built with high-temperature concrete, ceramic refractory, and stainless-steel fiber mesh. Beautiful Mantel

The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.

The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.
