The Flame Modulating Safety Pilot Kit with Remote Control from Maxitrol provides a high quality gas valve. The superior construction and design ensure a long lasting and quality product while the straight forward valve offers a simple installation and use to raise and lower the flame height of your fireplace. The valve itself is rated for 175°F for up to 85,000 BTU with a complete 90° pilot assembly and is intended for use with either natural gas. This unit also includes the Acumen RCK-M remote control which allows a convenient way to operate your fireplace remotely. Be sure to adhere to the manufacturer's listed directions and local codes when installing this product.

Flame Authority

Beautiful Mantel

The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.

The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.
