Beautiful Mantel

The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.

The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.

Great heating stove

I bought the stove couple weeks ago and ended up having a chance running it a few days I am very pleased with the outcome of the amount of heat it gets out also with the amount of hours it burns at least eight hours. My husband and I just renovated our den and this log set was the finishing touch. It gives the fireplace a traditional, cozy feel while still keeping our sleek, modern setup. Logs look genuinely charred and natural

I was not prepared for how much of a difference this log kit would make. We installed it in our Orion 76" and the whole fireplace feels transformed. The logs look genuinely charred and natural. Our living room has that high-end mountain lodge feel now.

As a contractor, I have installed a lot of fireplace media, but these TruWood logs are some of the most realistic I’ve come across. They are hand-finished, each one a little different, and the char detail is spot on. Big visual upgrade. The pieces are solid, beautifully detailed, and the glow they catch is mesmerizing. It changed from ‘nice’ to ‘wow.’ Worth every penny.

Look 10x better

We added these to our 76” three-sided unit and it made the flames look 10x better. The logs are beautifully darkened and charred, and the way they reflect the ember lighting is gorgeous. Even off, they look like art.
