Create a dependable outdoor gathering space with the Summerset 30" Resort Built-In Grill. Designed for condos, apartment communities, HOA amenities, hospitality properties, and shared outdoor spaces, the Resort Grill combines durable stainless steel construction, straightforward operation, and a large cooking surface for frequent outdoor use.
Select the SBG30 Natural Gas model for a properly regulated natural gas installation or the SBG30L Liquid Propane model for propane operation. Both configurations feature #304 stainless steel construction, two stainless steel U-tube burners, thick 9 mm cooking grates, heavy-duty flame tamers, anti-theft control knobs, and operation without electrical power.
The Summerset Resort SBG30 and SBG30L is a 30-inch built-in outdoor gas grill designed for frequently used residential, multi-family, hospitality, and shared outdoor cooking areas. It includes two #304 stainless steel U-tube burners, 9 mm cooking grates, 14-gauge flame tamers, a double-lined hood, and heavy-duty anti-theft knobs.
Choose SBG30 for Natural Gas or SBG30L for Liquid Propane. This grill is for outdoor use only and must not be installed or operated inside a building, garage, enclosed room, RV, trailer, or boat. Built-in installation requires the correct enclosure materials, gas regulation, ventilation, clearances, and adherence to the installation manual and local codes.
Select the model that matches the regulated fuel supply planned for the installation.
| Model | Fuel Type | Recommended Use |
|---|---|---|
| SBG30 | Natural Gas | Permanent outdoor kitchens and shared amenity areas with a properly sized and regulated natural gas connection. |
| SBG30L | Liquid Propane | Outdoor installations using an approved propane supply, the correct LP regulator, and properly ventilated enclosure. |
Fuel conversion: Conversion orifices are included as described in the owner’s manual, but changing fuel types may require additional parts. Fuel conversion and gas-line work should be completed by a qualified gas professional.

Confirm all dimensions against the current installation manual and the physical appliance before building or modifying the outdoor island.
Do not construct the enclosure from product-page dimensions alone. Review the complete installation manual, physical appliance, gas-line routing, ventilation requirements, access clearances, countertop design, and any required grill liner before cutting the island.
Review the manufacturer’s front, side, top, and rear drawings during outdoor-kitchen planning.

Installation must follow the current Summerset manual, applicable gas requirements, enclosure ventilation rules, and local codes.
Standard built-in installation requires an outdoor island manufactured from non-combustible materials. The manual recommends cement board with metal studs and appropriate ventilation.
A compatible Summerset grill liner is required when installing the grill in a combustible enclosure or surround.
The island must remain properly ventilated. Do not block the enclosure vents, the grill’s front air intake, or the hot-air exhaust path at the rear.
| Non-Combustible Wall | Maintain at least 2 inches from the right side, left side, and rear of the grill. |
|---|---|
| Protected Combustible Wall | Maintain at least 10 inches from the right side, left side, and rear of the grill, including the required non-combustible barrier arrangement. |
| Combustible Wall | Maintain at least 14 inches from the right side, left side, and rear of the grill. |
| Non-Combustible Backsplash | Maintain at least 2 inches behind the grill before the non-combustible backsplash or wall begins. |
The grill enclosure must provide replacement air and ventilation for heat and potential gas leakage. One side of the enclosure may remain fully open to the outdoors, or the island must include properly positioned ventilation openings.
Inadequate ventilation or incorrect gas installation can create a fire, explosion, overheating, carbon monoxide, property-damage, or personal-injury hazard. Use a qualified installer and follow the complete manual rather than relying only on this page summary.
Important: Never connect the grill directly to an unregulated gas supply. Confirm that the fuel supplied matches the model and rating plate before installation or operation.
This grill is an attended appliance. Do not leave it burning when unattended, and never attempt to light the burners with the hood closed.
Preheat the grill before each cooking session to help the burners, flame tamers, and cooking grates reach a more consistent operating temperature. The owner’s manual recommends igniting the main burners, closing the hood, and allowing the grill to preheat for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
After reaching the desired temperature, reduce or turn off individual burners as needed for the selected cooking method. Cooking surfaces can be significantly hotter than the hood-thermometer reading, so always use appropriate grilling tools and heat-protective gloves.
Outdoor island materials, gas plumbing, shutoff valves, exhaust equipment, grill liner, propane cylinder, grill cover, and optional accessories are not included unless separately stated in the product offer.
Use the compatible grill liner when required for installation in a combustible enclosure. Verify compatibility and all construction requirements before building the island.
A fitted grill cover helps protect the exterior from rain, airborne debris, and environmental exposure when the appliance is cool, clean, and completely dry.
Burn off food residue, brush the cooking grates, allow the appliance to cool, and close the gas supply.
Clean with mild soap and warm water, wipe in the direction of the stainless steel grain, rinse completely, and dry with a microfiber towel.
Clean the cooking grates, flame tamers, drip tray, burners, and interior basin regularly. Keep all burner ports and venturi tubes free of grease, insects, nests, and debris.
Salt air, chlorine, humidity, construction debris, and harsh cleaning chemicals can cause surface staining, corrosion, or pitting. Clean and dry the grill regularly, keep pool chemicals away from the appliance, and never place a cover over a damp grill.
Surface rust, discoloration, oxidation, and corrosion caused by environmental exposure are not automatically manufacturing defects. Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions and retain records of regular care when requesting warranty support.
The Summerset Resort Grill is supported by the manufacturer’s Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty. The supplied manual lists coverage for specified stainless steel construction, workmanship, manufacturer defects, cooking grates, burners, burner covers, valves, flame tamers, temperature gauges, and other listed components.
Commercial and hospitality applications are covered under specific conditions, but regular maintenance is mandatory. Misuse, vandalism, theft, improper installation, grease fires, environmental damage, corrosion, surface rust, and failure to maintain the appliance can void or limit coverage.
Warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s complete current terms, original-owner requirements, proof of purchase, photo documentation, installation conditions, and registration requirements. Warranty coverage generally applies to replacement parts rather than installation labor.
Review the installation manual and dimensional drawings before finalizing the outdoor-kitchen design.

Yes. Do not install the grill in an unventilated island; follow the manufacturer’s upper and lower vent-opening requirements for the selected fuel type.

Product specifications, installation requirements, included components, and warranty terms are subject to manufacturer revision. Always follow the current owner’s manual and appliance rating plate.
Registering your grill as soon as possible is recommended, as this will speed up the process of any warranty claims, while protecting your rightful ownership of your new Summerset Grill. Register your grill.

I was able to get a Novus 33 in brick refractory back for my NG Novus fireplace insert. Novus is a high demand item and Flame authority was only supplier without a huge delay from manufacturer. I recommend them for all fireplace needs.
Great service and great product
Product is great, free shipping was good, and unpacking and installing it was easy. Customer support was great too, both with the sales and shipping carrier. After much research…the Modern Flames Redstone is the one.
A+ = both the sale, the shipping process, and the product
I purchased burner and fire box. I emailed and spoke with Jim . He helped me from start to finish. Great service
The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.
The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.
Very happy with our purchase!
I shopped for a grill for two people. I want it to last for ten years or more. I want it to get really hot for grilling steaks after they have been cooled sous vide. I want it to be useful also for lower temp cooking. This Blaze grill is perfect for me and my wife. Our purchase through Flame Authority was completed with no problems. I am totally satisfied with this grill and highly recommend it for anyone with similar needs.
Came as advertised and without any delays. Arrived quickly. No issues and would buy from flame authority again.
I wanted to make sure of the size and features of this oven. I called Flame Authority and Mary answered the call. She gave me all the details and I was really amazed coz she really knows what she is selling. Expert with sales and communication. Thumbs Up!
I bought the stove couple weeks ago and ended up having a chance running it a few days I am very pleased with the outcome of the amount of heat it gets out also with the amount of hours it burns at least eight hours. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for hours of heat output. At first when I bought it I didn’t quite know if mine hopes will be for filled but now they are happy with it. I would recommend this to anyone as a trusted tester of it I am very pleased of the outcome it rains.!
Nice , polite and helpful, when you would call with questions.Fireplace looks nice and throws a decent amount of heat , just a bit of a delay in delivery. Ended up getting it End of January, right before guests arrived. But still only took 3 weeks to get. Thank you Flame Authority !!!
I didn't expect to have this fireplace earlier than the lead time they promised. It looks stunning in my living room and now we are prepared for the upcoming winter season! I am happy with all the updates! Customer service representatives keep on updating me with the process of my order until delivery they are checking it for you! 10 stars for Flame Authority!
Simply beautifully designed. Very efficient. Looks gorgeous in our mid century modern home in a corner space. Will save us $$$ on electric heat bills and is easy to clean with fireplace glass cleaner.
I believe it was David Novak that helped me. Someone ALWAYS answered the phone and located this burner when I couldn't find it anywhere else. It almost seemed too good to be true. But it wasn't. The burner is now nestled in my new outdoor kitchen and am very pleased.
Thank you for a very smooth transaction. the remote is very useful. It is very easy to install
