The Superior Highridge Birch 18" Nature-Flame Vent-Free Gas Log Set combines detailed birch-style concrete cast refractory logs with Superior's Nature-Flame burner system for tall natural-yellow flames, a flickering ember bed, and a traditional fireplace presentation. Available in Natural Gas or Propane/LP configurations with millivolt or electronic controls, the 18-inch system provides up to 30,000 BTU/hr.

Highridge Birch 18" Overview
Highridge Birch is designed for homeowners who prefer the distinctive lighter appearance of birch while retaining the flame movement, ember glow, and supplemental heating capability of Superior's Nature-Flame gas log platform.
The concrete cast refractory logs reproduce natural wood-grain texture, bark characteristics, lighter birch coloration, and distinctive markings. The log design creates a fireplace focal point whether the appliance is operating or turned off.
Superior's Nature-Flame pan burner pairs the logs with tall natural-yellow flames, varied flame movement, a flickering ember bed, and a wood-burning-style grate presentation.

Firebox Fit Requirements
An 18-inch log-set designation does not mean every fireplace with an opening wider than 18 inches is suitable. The usable interior must satisfy all four minimum dimensions.

Highridge Birch Log Placement

Correct log positioning helps maintain the intended flame pattern and combustion characteristics.
Do not alter the prescribed log or ember arrangement. Do not place ember material over burner ports. Refer to the dedicated Highridge Birch Concrete Log Placement Guide before installing or repositioning the logs.
Fuel, Control & BTU Configuration
The Highridge Birch 18" does not have one universal input rating. Fuel type and control type determine the applicable BTU range and available control features.
Natural Gas
Select only the configuration designed for an approved Natural Gas supply.
Propane / LP
Select only the configuration designed for an approved Propane/LP supply.
Millivolt Control
The millivolt Nature-Flame configuration is remote ready. Compatible optional remote or wall-mounted controls can be selected according to the desired operating method.
Electronic Control
The electronic configuration includes the EcoFlow Touch Screen Multi-Function Remote with Manual and Thermostat modes, On/Off operation, and three flame-height settings.
Do not field-convert fuel types. Order the appliance configuration that matches the actual gas supply at the installation location.

Fireplace & Venting Compatibility
The Highridge Birch Nature-Flame system cannot be installed in every fireplace. Fireplace construction, firebox dimensions, clearances, fuel supply, combustion air, and applicable restrictions must all be verified.
Compatible Fireplace Types
The system is intended for an appropriate solid-fuel-burning masonry fireplace, qualifying UL127 factory-built fireplace, or applicable listed ventless firebox that satisfies Superior's installation requirements.
Factory-built fireplace restriction: Do not install the appliance in a factory-built fireplace if that fireplace's instructions state that it has not been tested or should not be used with unvented gas logs.
Vent-Free Operation
During vent-free operation, the appliance uses air from the installation space for combustion rather than relying on a conventional chimney to exhaust the appliance.
Adequate combustion and ventilation air is required. Use the applicable Superior installation manual to determine whether the installation area meets the required conditions.
Local restrictions may apply. Vent-free appliances can be subject to state, local, or installation-specific requirements.
Vented Operation
The Nature-Flame series is also listed for qualifying vented fireplace applications.
For applicable vented operation, a damper clamp is required to prevent the chimney damper from closing completely and to maintain the required permanent flue opening. The damper clamp is sold separately.

Beautiful Mantel
The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.
The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.

Blaze Pro Portable Grill
I shopped for a grill for two people. I want it to last for ten years or more. I want it to get really hot for grilling steaks after they have been cooled sous vide. Great heating stove
I bought the stove couple weeks ago and ended up having a chance running it a few days I am very pleased with the outcome of the amount of heat it gets out also with the amount of hours it burns at least eight hours. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for hours of heat output. At first when I bought it I didn’t quite know if mine hopes will be for filled but now they are happy with it.
