Beautiful Mantel

The mantel required a little bit of sanding and prep before painting, but was good quality. Flame Authority did an excellent job shipping and it arrived by freight in perfect condition.

The mantel assembled well. I ended up using some construction adhesive to glue the legs on to make it a little more sturdy. I cut pocket holes in the top to attach it to the wall.

I love the herringbone interior

I live in a small condo and did no think I wouldd ever have a fireplace again, but this Dimplex firebox made it possible. I wanted something that felt genuine. Not just a glowing screen and the Revillusion really delivered. The flames do not feel like a gimmick; they actually have a depth to them, especially when viewed with the lights dimmed. I love the herringbone interior because it gives the whole thing a vintage, real-fireplace vibe. I use it year-round. Flame-only in summer and with heat in the winter. It warms the room without drying it out like my old space heater used to. And best of all, there is no cleaning, smoke, or fire hazard. As someone who values low-maintenance living, this is an absolute dream.
